“You Can Learn What You Love”
It’s our mission to cultivate your passion for learning and discovery during your next four years…and throughout your lifetime.
The Arts & Sciences curriculum is a flexible tool to support your curiosity, your initiative, and your creation of an inspiring education that is uniquely yours. It’s designed to help you achieve both breadth and depth in your intellectual explorations. It’s one of the ways we help you learn what you love. And, most importantly, it’s intended to support your exploration to discover and to develop who you are … and who you want to be.
In order to graduate from Washington University with a degree from the College of Arts & Sciences you must complete a total of 120 units, 90 of which must be in Arts & Sciences coursework and at least 30 of which must be at the 300/400/500 level.
