Welcome to the January Program! The January Program is group of 40-50 freshmen who begin full-time studies at Washington University the January after high school graduation.
The advantage of the January Program is the opportunity to take the road less traveled. It offers students the opportunity to explore their interests during the fall, while connecting with Washington University through short-term academic programs on campus during the summer and fall.
Over the years, many January Program students have participated in extraordinary experiences that have become an essential part of their Washington University education, and they have made the transition to campus successfully and have graduated on-time with their freshmen class.

ON THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Please note that there is no separate application form or process for the January Program. All students applying as freshmen share the same application and due dates, and from this group of applicants, a select number receive an offer of admission to the University through this program.
