Liz is the face behind the front desk of Umrath Hall and the first person that students meet when walking through the door. Her current responsibilities include answering student questions and coordinating Dean of the day visits. Liz also helps with troubleshooting for the online course evaluations, coordination for some of the External Scholarship and Fellowship programs, and is the support person for the Honorary Scholars Program. She also helps Dean Stahl with balancing her busy schedule and has recently begun working on the logistics of the Praxis Program.
Julia splits her time between Campus Life and the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition to being an academic coordinator and four-year adviser, Julia coordinates the Annika Rodriguez Scholars Program, a program based on four pillars: Academic Excellence, Leadership, Service to the Community and a Dedication to bringing diverse cultures together. Julia is also the Adviser for the Association of Latin American Students (ALAS), Mariachi Cuicacalli, and College Connections.
Jennifer is Dean Biggs' assistant and the office manager for Undergraduate Research. She handles Dean Biggs' schedule, administers undergraduate research award programs, and coordinates the online course evaluation system.
Sarah works with all aspects of academic life for freshmen. She helps organize the four-year advising program, freshman programs such as FOCUS and other seminars, Freshmen Summer Academic Program, and the peer-advising program. Sarah also handles other administrative issues dealing with freshmen such as AP credit, advisor record maintenance, and registration authorization.
Bill serves as the office accountant, managing payments and requests through FIS, as well as managing bi-weekly and monthly payroll processes. Bill also processes reimbursements, travel advances, and transfer of funds between departments.
Patti's main duties are managing Dean McLeod's calendar and travel arrangements. She also works with other deans in organizing special events and works with the front desk in meeting the needs of students.
